Coffee just Roasted before dispatch

One way of knowing if your coffee is freshly roasted is the “bloom effect”. When water is added to freshly ground roasted coffee , the coffee foam up.

This means the beans have been roasted in the last couple of days and means the coffee will be at its top. The bloom will be most noticeable in the first few days and will reduce afterwards as the gases in the coffee bean dissipate.

As time goes on and as the coffee gets less fresh it’s taste decreases in flavor.

The numeral eight in Greek numerals, was written as Η, the eight letter of the Greek alphabet.

This is my coffee from the island of Flores, a small Indonesian island where Komodo dragons can be found in the wild ....

Cafeat8 Dragon's coffee , called from me Betty Blue from .....................has notes sweet, chocolate, floral and woody.

It is very earthy and smooth.

Background smokiness that makes for a distinctive cup.

Mouth coating body and chocolaty texture. -

Betty Blue is an Arabica coffee grown between 1200 and 1800 meters. The coffee harvesting interest only fully ripe cherries, also called semi-washed. Beans are semi-washed ( de-pulped and while covered with mucillage are partially fermented, then dried). The drying takes place on raised African beds here, an excellent development as the coffee is not in contact with soil and is exposed to air from all sides. Coffee is dried to a high 30% to 35% moisture level while in its hull (or parchment); it is then hulled, or milled, while moist and the balance of drying is later continued. In the local Bahasa language the process is called "giling basah" or literally, wet grinding. This method produces deep green/blue coffees. It is also responsible for the heavy body, low acid nature as full drying within parchment results in higher acidity.
